JNT NorthWest Model Tour '12

the first step was to find a sponsor to the 2012 Select Models Photo Cruise...
second step.. i had to make my way to the port!

the organization here is subtle but detailed

never one to miss an opportunity, i decided i had to extend this trip to visit some amazing talent along the west coast as i made my way to long beach.

so i packed up "my life" and after many phone calls, emails, and coordinating on my part, i was ready to say "goodbye for now" to idaho and hit the road for my longest adventure yet!

a couple stops leaving idaho....

i had to stop by Weiser Classic Candy for the absolute BEST milkshake i've ever had from owner/friend/photographer Keith Bryant

stopping at the scenic lookouts for a quick stretch and to keep the instagram up to date

my new road buddy.. say hi to fern gulliver! he goes on travels

i make friends every where i go - i just can't help it!

even their bridges are neat!

gettin' nekkid in SLC, why did i even bother to pack??

after our short experiment with the wet plate images in SLC, photographer Chris Madsen of Square Pixel LLC Photography (you know what to do! ---> HERE!) decided that i needed to come back out. more than willing, the perfect opportunity arrived when he became one of the featured artists at SLC's August RAW showcase.

YOU HAVEN'T HEARD OF RAW??? GO CHANGE THAT! --------> HERE!!
currently happening in over 50 cities in the US - RAW is "an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists.

basically, it's badass. and you know my feelings on anything badass.

we are so fashionable.

so how could i say no? i put up a casting call, and booked three shoots with SLC photographers, all within a 24 hour time period. but first - the fun!!
once again meeting up with my gracious host and amazing artist friend karina gero, we enjoyed ourselves immensely at the SLC RAW. drinks, fashion, sketches, drinks, photographers, drinks, painters, jewelry makers, and did i mention drinks?? it was an incredible time all around!!

gypsy road trips, premieres, bad dreams brought to life, and lezzy kisses in CO - OH MY!

when fellow actress and badass Whitnie asked if i could make it with her to the premier of "Silence" and "Me, a Rapist?," two shorts she had made over the last two summers with Colorado filmmaker Todd Braley (read more about the director and these two shorts HERE!) and to work on her newest short, "Wake" - it took me about two seconds to text back "fuck. yes."

only problem was the premier was saturday, and i had already agreed to be part of a Fuel Photo pin up contest that friday night at the knitting factory in boise (awesome boise weekly article about the event by my friend and photog mika belle of belle arts HERE!). this meant that in order to make it work, we would be making the TEN HOUR road trip from boise, idaho to grand junction, colorado overnight! luckily, as i may have mentioned, whit is also a badass, and was down for the challenge.

beer?? chicken strips?? NEVER! only salads and diet cokes for us classy ladies..

and perhaps half a menthol cigarette for dessert if we're feeling 'naughty'.

JNT gets RAW and enters the world of fashion!

let me start by saying that i have ALWAYS dreamed of walking the runway!! being the shorty that i am though, i had given up on that dream....

that changed when RAW came to boise!! i had attended the first boise RAW in May, and by chance was standing next to talented designers/photographers Nena Earl and Aubrey Brower during the fashion show, and discovered they had plans for an upcoming show of their own at the June RAW. i made sure to properly FB stalk both these gorgeous ladies, met for a quick audition with them and the fabulous MUA Spence McBride.. and I was in!

what's that? you don't know about RAW?? change that HERE!! described as..
"natural born artistis.. an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists." they are a "community made up of creative individuals across the nation" with monthly showcases in over 50+ cities!!

basically, it's a bunch of good looking people getting just HAMMERED... in the name of ART!! what's not to love ;D

Proper Manors World Premiere!

after scoring a part in a new soap opera, "Proper Manors" (click HERE!) amazing actor and friend Whitney invited some of her best gal pals to attend the premiere in Ogden, Utah.
so five sexy ladies piled into my little 2 door honda civic and set out for a night in utah.
utah didn't stand a chance.....
