A couple weeks ago I saw a post by Tricia Leigh Makeup Artist about needing a model. When I found out it was a shoot with Photos by Amalu, there was no keeping me away!! I had met Amalu last fall at a Deborah Conners Photography group shoot, and am still in love with result of our quick shoot together.

Unfortunately, I still wasn't quite over the East Coast Plague I'd brought back from New Year's in NYC. They were sweethearts though, and waited for me to recover.
Always happy to turn my face over to a professional, I met Tricia at her place a week later for make up. As an army brat, Tricia has lived everywhere, but moved from England to LA a few years ago to go to Cinema Make Up School. Her accent is barely visible, although I loved hearing the fancy way she said, 'mascaaaara.' She's been on some big Hollywood sets and has some serious skills (and is a sweetheart to boot) For our shoot she had something extra special in mind...
With my make up FLAWLESS, it was time to be reunited with mi amor Amalu.
Amalu is a master of lights and editing, and his enthusiasm can be a bit overwhelming. He would shoot for 12 hours straight if I let him (I didn't let ;).
As expected, the final photos are INCREDIBLE.
Only one thing to do after such a great shoot... Ditch the pearls, and go show off this flawless face with some much deserved sushi!!!
XOXO
