I also had to take care of some very important business that we all must address when we've been away a while... getting in touch with my favorite bartenders.
First step involved putting on some pants...
Enter Greg Looney. old school, sweet as pie, shot pouring, rock n roll diehard, and all around badass. The mustache handles reaching down to his chin are an immediate crowd pleaser too (how you would you describe that? "chops"? oh yeah, Looney's got chops). When you see this man behind the bar you know not only will you be well taken care of, but you'll be regailed with anecdotes from his experiences touring the country as a musician and partying it up with real rock & rollers from all over the world. Looney is one of those characters that, despite his travels, keeps returning to Bako and makes it a better place.
Just a heads up - they're not yet approved for 24 hrs (but who the hell is up before noon anyway? pffftttt losers I bet) and their signal isn't super strong in all of Bako. After years of planning though, now that they're on the air their success is already avalanching, and the more you tune in the better they'll be. they already have plans to be up and running online in the next few weeks. so if you're an old school rock, underground, and punk fan, you now have a preset station numero uno that kicks all that mainstream shit to the curb. You're welcome.
