It is amazing how many times in life, one opportunity will lead to another. While filming "Honor Among Thieves" in Boise, Idaho back in the summer of 2011, another door was opened to me, one that I had always dreamed of.
Most of the filming took place at a glorious mini-mansion owned by an incredible artist and dear friend Peter Iverson. One day, while on set in my 'I've Lost My Mind' make up, Pete asked if he could paint me.
"It's about damn time!" was my response.

And paint me he did!! But I'll share those photos in a minute.. hee hee.
First, here is the teaser trailer for "Honor Among Thieves" and a look at the make up that inspired Pete to put JNT on canvas:
Yes, you DO get to see me topless in this film. No, it is NOT currently for sale as it is off entering film festivals around the world to become a cult classic and make us all super famous. I'll let you know when that changes ;)
You also may have noticed our lead actress, one Calico Cooper, oldest daughter of rock legend Alice Cooper. This is the second film that she was awesome enough to come and be a part of. She's a rock star, no question.
When I came back to visit Boise the following summer, Pete again wanted me to sit down for a paint session, which I did HAPPILY. A couple months later I was lucky enough to be there for Pete's Open House. The event was part art showing, part "Honor Among Thieves" showing, and an all around fabulous evening.
Oh, plus plenty of awesome food and tasty cocktails. Pete's personal home bar, "Bar Denile" was also open for business. Pete is a pro party-thrower.
I already knew (and had seen) before hand that there would be two paintings of me. I was beyond ecstatic however to walk in & discover a whole WALL of Jin N Tonic!! This little model's heart grew two sizes bigger when Pete even referred to these pieces as 'the main exhibit' of his showcase. Not only was I a painting.. I was a whole series!
Ok, ready to see??
Here it is, the JNT Collection by Peter Iverson!
Here's some slightly better shots... Ignore the overly excited model in the way.
By the way, all these amazing pieces of art are available for purchase...

"JaJa"
30"x40" Oil on Canvas
"Jin Not JaJa"

I spent a good amount of time at the open house admiring Pete's work, and felt rather conceited that I kept getting caught staring at myself. But hey, it's not every day that a lifelong dream comes true!
..
Or is it? =)
A hundred million thank you's to Pete for making me the subject of his incredible talent! <3
XOXO
