I've recently had the pleasure of collaborating with one of Bakersfield's
most creative minds; an energetic and contagiously enthusiastic
photographer and artist known as Crysco.
While Crysco currently has many projects in the works (a couple of which I am planning to be part of!) most his recent creative efforts have gone towards Masked Models.
Would I be interested, he wondered.
Why yes of course, I said.
You know me though, I like to always try and do things a little different. So instead of an actual mask, I suggested to Crysco
that perhaps we do a painted one.
He was on board.

For our shoot, Crysco enlisted the talent of his righthand man - the sexy Roschel Wynn, current esthetics instructor at the Marinello School of Beauty here in Bakersfield (they make me look good for cheap, check em out).
For our shoot Crysco and I headed out to Hart Park at the North East side of town. In addition to carefully placed and not entirely secure rhinestones all over my face, Crysco and I ran into a few other obstacles. Such as a dozen overly needy cats and their little striped friend...
Crysco timed the shoot just right to get some amazing, whimsical day shots...
..and mysteriously glamorous night shots.
Here are a few more of my favs from this set =)
This one has been submitted to a gallery for showing.. Wish us luck!
After a long day of make up and shooting, I went home to recuperate and prepare to tackle my next big challenge....
The friggen rhinestones glued into my eyebrows!!!
